Relevant members of German retailer federation and its French equal have developed a quality and food safety standard to give an opportunity to evaluate food safety and quality systems of suppliers in accordance with a uniform approach for retailer branded food products, whose name is International Food Standard. This standard contains all after-farm steps in processing food material.
